CBTB ASSOCIATION MEETING MINUTES

Minutes of the Board of Directors

December 10, 2011

The CBTB Board Meeting commenced at 10:00 a.m. on December 10, 2011.

The Meeting was called to order by President, Bonnie Haynie.

Secretary’s Report:  (Judy Atlas)

A motion to accept draft minutes from November 19, 2011 was approved unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report:  (Chris Naumann)

A motion to accept the Treasurer’s Reports as of November 30, 2011 was approved unanimously. 

Architectural Committee

Facilities Manager and Pool :  (John Cooper)

Nothing new to report.

Roads and Grounds:  (Norman Haynie)

Nothing new to report.

Golf/Tennis: (Jean Ehlman)

Mrs. Ehlman requested that the Board repair sand traps, and make repairs to the tennis courts before winter snow and ice.

Dock:  (Barry Jackson)

The dock will be closed at the end of the month, although the ramp is available for use.

Money submitted for dock spaces will not be accepted until March 1^st.  Anyone wanting dock space must also submit an application, and proof of insurance as well.

Capital Reserve Study:  (Roger Failmezger)

Action postponed until after the first of the year.

Old Business: (Bonnie Haynie)

Entrance Sign Landscaping – Catherine Bennett

Mr. VanInwegen will modify the plans to accommodate a message board.  There is no new information on the lease of the land where the sign is situated.

Use of the Clubhouse – Bonnie Haynie

New carpet for the clubhouse will be installed Thursday (December 15, 2011).  Exercise equipment will be installed shortly after.

            Tennis Court Bids – Norman Haynie

Two bids have been received for repairing drainage problems on the tennis courts.  A third bid is expected in a week.

            Generator – Norman Haynie

Mr. Haynie is soliciting bids for installing a generator at the clubhouse.  He is getting three bids which will include maintenance as well as installation.

            Secure Portal on the Web – Judy Atlas

Mrs. Atlas will notify the Webmaster that the Board wishes the secure portal be created.

New Business:

            Delinquencies – John Cooper

Mr. Cooper wanted to know if the Collection Agency has taken any action against delinquent owners.  Bonnie Haynie volunteered to consult Michelle about any reports she may have received from the Agency. Mrs. Haynie stated that in her experience about 10% of fees are uncollectible as a general rule.

The Board meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
