changed hands twice before being purchased in 1966 by American Central Corporation (formerly Northern Neck Recreational Development Corp.) American Central bought an additional 17.5 acres called Woodbine from the Chambers family to complete what we now know as Corrotoman By The Bay. The Corrotoman By The Bay Association was incorporated on November 27, 1970 as a non-stock, non-profit organization. The primary purpose the association is to maintain and preserve the common property and recreational facilities owned by the Association, as well as promote preservation and purification of the Corrotoman River. The Association is made up of an all-volunteer board of CBTB property owners. For more information about the Association and Board click here.
