CORROTOMAN BY THE BAY

History

Our 80,000 gallon pool is the center gathering place of the community in the summer. It is also over 50 years old and each year the need for repairs and potential for problems increases.

The CBTB Pool Committee was formed and they did over a year's worth of research to come up with the best solution for the community and future CBTB generations. Here is their presentation:  05-28-2022 Pool Committee Presentation

On August 20, 2022 the Finance Committee made a presentation to explore options to pay for the pool. Following is the presentation and a link to a video recording of that meeting.

Pool Renovation Project

September 2025    New Pool Construction is About to Begin!

We’re excited to announce that demolition and construction of the new CBTB swimming pool will begin the week of October 6, 2025!
Please be aware that:

  • Heavy equipment will be operating on the driveway between the shed and the clubhouse and within the pool area.
  • Please keep that end of the parking area open for our New Pool team
  • Once the existing pool fence is removed, an orange safety barrier fence will be installed to clearly define the construction zone.  It will not impact any of the other CBTB amenities.
  • For your safety, only authorized construction personnel will be permitted inside the work area at any time during the project.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as this long-awaited project gets underway. It’s a big step forward for our community — thank you for helping us keep it safe and smooth.
If you have questions, feel free to contact a Board member at cbtbay@gmail.com or stop by the clubhouse bulletin board for updates.
